대비(contrast)는 어떤 물체(또는 이미지나 디스플레이 상의 그 표현)를 구별할 수 있게 만드는 휘도 또는 색상의 차이입니다. 현실 세계의 시각 인지에서 대비는 같은 시야 안에 있는 물체와 다른 물체들 간의 색상 및 밝기 차이로 결정됩니다.

Contrast is the difference in luminance or color that makes an object distinguishable. In visual perception of the real world, contrast is determined by the difference in the color and brightness of the object and other objects within the same field of view. Good contrast makes interfaces usable for everyone, including people with low vision or color deficiencies.
